CURRENT AUDITIONS

Broadway on Tour is thrilled to announce the auditions for our upcoming production of 13.
Directed by Laurie Holden with musical direction by John Blaylock and choreography by Karie Seasock, 13 is a hilarious, coming-of-age musical about discovering that “cool” is sometimes where we least expect it.
We are casting performers age 10 – 18 (to play characters who are all approximately 13).
Auditions will take place on Wednesday, February 8 at 6:00PM with callbacks later that evening.
The Auditions will be held at The Ebell Club at 718 Mortimer St. Santa Ana, CA 92701.
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song. No accompanist will be provided, so please bring recorded accompaniment on a phone, iPod, iPad, or MP3 player. Also, you will learn a short dance combination with a group of 10 others, so wear something you can dance in.
Rehearsals will be on Monday and Wednesday weeknights from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Not all cast members will be called to all rehearsals.
Tech week will be April 17 – April 20 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM and the show will take place on April 21 at 7pm , April 22 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and April 23 at 2:00 PM at the Ebell Theatre of Santa Ana. All cast members must be available for all tech rehearsals and shows.
The cast participation fee for 13 is $375.
Thanks so much, and we look forward to seeing you on February 8!
